What is "One Triumph"?
“One Triumph” is Triumph Group’s performance based operating philosophy focused on leveraging the strength of the company’s portfolio to compete and win together. “One Triumph” helps Triumph Group simplify the business and allows the company to operate better together as one team to deliver on key imperatives – deliver on commitments, become predictably profitable, and drive organic growth.
Why is Triumph Group initiating a "One Triumph" Transformation now?
Triumph Group is transforming in order to succeed in today’s increasingly competitive and global marketplace. Our transformation enables us to deliver against commitments, grow organically, and generate predictable profitability while operating as “One Triumph.” The transformation will improve execution, reduce costs and allow us to serve customers and drive value as an integrated company. It will also ensure the company continues to be positioned to develop top-of-the-line aerospace products for customers, and provide quality jobs for our employees and value to our investors.
What impact will the Transformation have on the production process?
As we introduce standardized processes across business units, a performance based operating model, and lean and new continuous-improvement processes, we are dedicated to ensuring business continuity to prevent any production process disruptions. These changes will improve everything we do now and in the future.
What facilities is Triumph selling as part of this transformation? What facilities are closing?
The locations and timing for future facility sales or closures will be announced at the appropriate time in concert with the formal communication to affected employees. The Transformation News section located below will also be updated with company announcements as additional information becomes available.
To date, we’ve reorganized our operations by moving from 47 individual companies to 14 operating companies to eliminate redundancies, better align our talent, enhance supply chain economies, improve quality, improve on-time delivery and drive value.
What are Triumph's new Business Units?
As part of the “One Triumph” transformation, Triumph Group realigned its organizational and financial reporting structure into three business units: Aerospace Structures, Integrated Systems and Product Support. This new structure allows Triumph to better support our go-to-market strategies and more effectively satisfy our customers’ needs.
What's coming next as part of the transformation?
Our immediate focus is on achieving a near-term turnaround and building enablers of long-term success. We are committed to enhancing Triumph’s performance and competitiveness in the marketplace, increasing our organic growth rate and becoming the partner of choice for current and future customers.
We will do this by working toward the following aspirations:
- Consistently be recognized by our customers as a top performing supplier
- Pursue opportunities in industry segments where we can be a leader and top financial performer
- Be a top operational performer, consistently delivering on all of our commitments and program
- Have a strong performance culture that attracts the top talent in the industry.
