Triumph Structural Component Repair aggressively seeks opportunities to develop proprietary repairs for worn out parts that go beyond what is required in the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals in order to reduce our customers’ costs of ownership. We submit component and process improvements to customers that will reduce costs and improve reliability, based on continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing methods, mistake proofing and PMA and DER repair development programs.
Our product and process definitions and recommendations are submitted to customers with appropriate documentation and launched in the form of Component Maintenance Specification Policy Sheets (PS); Overhaul Specification Amendments (OSA’s); Component Approved Repair (CAR); Engineering Orders (EO); and Engineering Authorizations (EA). All parts refurbished through our proprietary processes must be proven through extensive engineering analysis to be as reliable as new parts. Through the use of these special engineering authorizations, Triumph Product Support is able to save our customers substantial costs by repairing many worn parts at a fraction of their new replacement value.
