Since the early 1990’s, Triumph Composite Systems, has been an aerospace industry leader in the  manufacturing of high quality composite interior components. Our products range from commercial and cargo floor panels to air control system ducting. Viewed as a leader in Lean Manufacturing principles, Triumph Composite Systems is highly skilled with the production of aerospace composite assemblies including glare-shields, drip-shields, side-wall risers, aisle stands, and mix bay manifolds. Triumph Composite Systems supplies approximately sixty-five percent of The Boeing Company’s ducting and we are currently the OEM manufacturer for all Boeing commercial aircraft floor panels. We currently have a library of over 19,000 part numbers with FAA PMA approval. Triumph Composite Systems, Inc. is located in Spokane, Washington.

Company History

In November of 1988 the Boeing Company announced their intentions to build a new composite manufacturing facility in Spokane, Washington. This facility was originally designed to support the manufacturing of two specific composite products: floor panels and environmental control system ducting. By July of 1990 fabrication of the facility was complete and manufacturing production began at Boeing’s newest facility.

Boeing Spokane quickly became known as one of the Boeing Company’s most reliable suppliers and throughout the 1990’s we continued to make innovative process improvements. Our aggressive approach to implement lean manufacturing techniques allowed us to add new composite products to our list of capabilities. Now added into our facility were the ability to do rotational molding, Ultem post-forming, and reinforced thermoplastic laminate (RTL) pressing. Over the years, our facility, located on a fifty-one acre site, had expanded to its current almost 400,000 square feet.

By the late 1990’s, Boeing Spokane was able to competitively enter the world of aerospace aftermarket sales. Companies like Delta Air Lines and Alaska Airlines were soon added to our list of customers receiving high quality, ready to drop-in, replacement floor panels.

In late 2002, Boeing Spokane was purchased by the Triumph Group and by January of 2003 our name was officially changed to Triumph Composite Systems, Inc. We now offer the same high quality products and services as part of the Triumph Aerospace Systems Group.
