Michael Giangiordano
General Manager

Mike Giangiordano brings extensive aerospace industry experience to his position as General Manager, where he oversees all operations for Triumph Thermal Systems. Most recently, Mr. Giangiordano was the company’s Vice President of Finance and Operations. He has served in various financial and operational capacities throughout his career with Rockwell International, Northrop Defense Systems Division, Unisys and Parker Hannifin Corporation. In 2003, he became part of the Triumph organization as Director of Finance when Parker Hannifin’s business unit was acquired by Triumph Group.

 

Mr. Giangiordano holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Allegheny College in Meadville, Penn., and a master’s in business administration from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calf.

 

Robin Miller

Operations

 

Robin Miller began her career in the aerospace industry in 1980. She joined Triumph Thermal Systems in 2003 as Director of Operations when her former employer was acquired by Triumph Group. She is currently responsible for the site’s operations and manufacturing. Prior to joining Triumph Thermal Systems, Ms. Miller served in various operational and contractual capacities as well as legal counsel throughout her career with Teledyne CAE, OHM Environmental, and Parker Hannifin Corporation.

 

Ms. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, a master’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant, Mich., and a doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of Toledo in Ohio.

 

Frank Marsico

Finance

 

Frank Marsico is Triumph Thermal Systems’ Controller and is responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, materials management and information technology. He has broad experience in program and financial management. Mr. Marsico joined the company’s predecessor company in 2000 as a Senior Cost Accountant. Prior to his current assignment, he served as Program Manager Specialist and was the main liason between the company’s customers and the facility on existing contracts and new development programs. Earlier in his career, Mr. Marisco worked in finance, accounting and information technology positions for other manufacturing companies.

 

Mr. Marsico holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University and a master’s in business administration from Ashland University. He is an active community volunteer and was named 2003 Volunteer of the Year for the Hardin County Family YMCA.

 

Mark Sievert

Quality

 

Mark Sievert began working in the aerospace industry in 1987 and currently leads Triumph Thermal Systems’ Product Quality area. His responsibilites include managing AS9100 compliance, compliance to customer requirements, first article inspections, supplier controls, inspection, root cause and corrective action, and repair station compliance to FAA/EASA/CAAC requirements. Mr. Sievert began his career as a mechanic with Will Willoughby Enterprises, repairing and overhauling business jets and general aviation aircraft. From 1989-1993, he served as Quality Engineer for Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. where he created and applied supplier quality requriements, supported field engineers, and was the Quality representative for supplier selection teams.

 

Mr. Sievert earned his bachelor’s degree in aeronautics from San Jose State University. In addition, he is an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and has completed professional training in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and in management from Triumph Group.

 

Stanley Coughlin

Purchasing / Supply Chain

 

Stanley Coughlin began his career in the aerospace industry in 1980. He has been the Director of Purchasing/Planning/Manufacturing Support for Triumph Thermal Systems since 2003. His responsibilities include procurement, physical plant operation, capital equipment planning and EHS compliance. From 1980 to 2003, Mr. Coughlin was employed by United Aircraft Products and Parker Hannifin in various manufacturing, facilities and engineering-related positions.

 

Mr. Coughlin holds a degree in design engineering from Northwest State Community College.

 

Dan Sensel

Engineering

 

Dan Sensel is the engineering lead for Triumph Thermal Systems and is responsible for new product development, a position he has held since 2009. Mr. Sensel joined the company in 2004 as Manufacturing Engineer and was responsible for continuous improvement and production support for all heat exchanger assembly and braze operations. From 2005-06, he served as Project Engineer and designed new products for proposal and product launch. Earlier in his career he was an Engineering Specialist for Crane Pumps and Systems, responsible for all design and analysis of centrifugal pump hydraulics.

 

Mr. Sensel earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering form Ohio Northern University and is a member of ASME.

 

Cris Rickle

Customer Service

 

Cris Rickle began working in the aerospace industry in 1985 and has served in his current position since 2007. He is responsible for managing all aftermarket services functions for spares, repairs and overhauls. Mr. Rickle began his employment with Triumph Thermal Systems in 1985 as a Manufacturing Engineer, when the company was under the name of United Aircraft Products. He was awarded the position of Overhaul Coordinator/Supervisor in 1997. Since then, he has filled various positions within the Aftermarket Services Group, including FAA Repairman, FAA Chief Inspector, Contracts Administrator. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rickle was employed by Franklin Electric Company as an Industrial Engineer.

 

Mr. Rickle has an associate’s degree in industrial engineering from Lima Tech/OSU branch and a certificate in Computer Aided Design from Owens Technical College. In addition, he has been a certified FAA repairman since 1997 and a certified FAA DMIR since 2003.

 

Bill Nostadt

Sales and Marketing

 

William Nostadt is an industry veteran, having worked in aerospace since 1979. He was named to his current position in 2009 and is responsible for identifying and pursuing marketing and sales opportunities in the OEM and aftermarket business segments. He also is responsible for all technical and program management aspects of product development -- from product concept through product flight certification. Mr. Nostadt joined Triumph in 2003 when his former employer was acquired by Triumph Group. Previous positions included Operations Team Leader, Product Assurance Team Leader, and Engineering Team Leader for Systems Research Laboratories, Inc.

 

Mr. Nostadt earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. In addition, he holds a U.S. patent for 3 Circuit Heat Exchanger.

 

Dave Rasor

Continuous Improvement

 

Dave Rasor has more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Since 1991, he has been the company’s Continuous Improvement Team Leader, responsible for the reduction of scrap and rework. He also works to improve the overall production through-put for the business. Previous positions Mr. Rasor has held within Triumph Thermal Systems include Tool Designer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader.

 

Mr. Rasor has a bachelor’s degree in education and spent the first three years of his career as a high school industrial education teacher.
