Triumph Structures - East Texas (TSET) is a modern machine shop manufacturing facility, specializing in complex, medium to large, CNC milling, turning, grinding and assembly. Triumph Structures - East Texas serves customers in the aerospace, energy and commercial industries. Triumph Structures - East Texas was founded in 1928 by A.P. Merritt Sr. as Merritt Tool Company. In March 2009, Merritt Tool Company merged with Triumph Group and formed Triumph Structures - East Texas, Inc. A.P. Merritt Jr. is currently the President of Triumph Structures - East Texas. The 97,135 square foot facility is located in Kilgore, Texas.

Triumph Structures - East Texas is currently involved in multiple civilian and defense aerospace contracts ranging from the popular Boeing 737 to cutting edge military technology such as the Apache Helicopter, the V-22 Osprey tilt rotor aircraft, and the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).
TSET continues its dedication to quality performance, on-time delivery and commitment to reduction of costs. Our quality system is 3rd party approved to SAE AS9100B:2004 and ISO 9001:2008. We are a delegated source for Boeing Commercial, Boeing IDS and Lockheed Martin. TSET's manufacturing capabilities and quality systems are industry independent. We have the luxury of developing business in a wide variety of industries.
Our CNC Programming systems include Catia V4 and V5 with CAD and Manufacturing Seats and NCL with multiple seats. We also utilize Vericut with Machine Simulation and Autodiff.
Since Triumph Structures - East Texas began its business supplying parts to the oilfield, precision machining for oilfield applications is an area for which the company has a special competency and reputation. Currently, TSET has significant relationships with Halliburton, Frank's Casing, Weatherford, FMC Technologies, and LeTourneau Technologies.
Today, we are committed to making the right investments in people, equipment, quality, lean manufacturing and customer service. TSET uses tools like lean manufacturing to further separate the company from the competition.
