Scott Holland
President
Scott Holland, a well recognized figure in the aviation industry, has more than 18 years of progressive executive management experience in the aviation interiors products and service industry. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance.
Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems (formerly The Mexmil Company) in 2001 he held positions with Am-Safe, Brice Manufacturing, Aircraft Interior Resources (AIR) and B/E Aerospace. He is responsible for both the successful turnaround and explosive growth that the company has experienced during his tenure, having initially led the marketing and sales teams and then providing leadership that guided the organization through its globalization and diversification efforts.
Howard Sanderson
Executive Vice President
Mr. Sanderson has more than 25 years of distinguished management experience in the Aerospace industry, having facilitated the profitable growth of Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial organizations alike. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems (formerly The Mexmil Company) in 2004, he held senior management positions in business development and finance within the Aerospace industry with the likes of Rockwell Collins, Brice Manufacturing and Westinghouse Electronic Systems to name a few.
Howard is graduate of the University of Redlands in California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (finance emphasis) and a graduate focus in International Marketing. Having earned industry wide recognition for his international business development and organizational leadership skills, he is an integral part of our management teams’ explosive growth, globalization and diversification successes that Triumph Insulation Systems has enjoyed during his tenure.
Jose Burboa
Vice President Operations
Jose Burboa joined Triumph Insulations Systems (formerly The Mexmil Company) on April 17, 2006 bringing nearly 17 years of operations executive experience with a strong emphasis on business profitability and continuous improvement through efficient operation. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering.
Mr. Burboa has a proven, solid background in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Leadership with several successful implementations in different fields and companies. His leadership of the global operation teams of Triumph Insulation systems has produced an environment of cooperation with high standards of process and internal control commonality that are reflected in the recognize world class organizations he leads.
Mariano Velarde
Vice President of Quality
Mariano Velarde joined Triumph Insulation Systems (previously The Mexmil Company) on June 14, 1999. He has been working in aerospace for over 18 years, with companys’ such as Honeywell Aerospace and Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corporation. He is a graduate of Baja California Autonomous University (UABC) and holds a Bachelor of Systems Analyst degree in Engineering with an emphasis on networks. He holds an Industrial Engineering Master degree from CETYS University.
Mr. Velarde is experienced in ISO9000, AS9100 and GRAMS, and instrumental in achieving and maintaining Certification for all Triumph Insulation Systems sites, which include Mexican and Chinese facilities, as well as Mexican aviation civil authority production certification on the Mexican site. Additionally, he holds an AS9100 lead auditor certificate. His entire career in aerospace has been dedicated to the advancement of Quality Assurance to ensure product reliability.
Jim Pepperdine
Vice President Engineering
Jim Pepperdine joined Mexmil (Triumph Insulation Systems) on March 30, 2007. Jim has been in aerospace for 25 years, staring his career with McDonnell Douglas in electrical engineering working as an Liaison Engineer on aircraft final assembly and eventually moving into Flight Ramp Engineering management responsible for customer aircraft deliveries. He moved into Airplane Program Management with Boeing in Seattle, WA. Mr. Pepperdine has extensive Maintenance Repair & Overhaul & site management experience with Boeing off site facilities in the UK and Europe.
He is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and holds an MBA from Embry Riddle in Aerospace Management. Mr. Pepperdine's experienced hands on management style with all aspects of aerospace engineering, manufacturing, quality and customer management are invaluable in leading Triumph Insulation Systems engineering efforts.
Patrick Ruppert
Vice President Industrialization
Patrick Ruppert joined Triumph Insulation Systems in October 2006. He holds a Management degree from The University of Houston with specialization in Industrialization and Distribution. Mr. Ruppert began his post graduate career in Materials Management and quickly moved into Operations Management. He has had direct manufacturing / operations responsibility for over 20 years, 12 of which is within the Aerospace industry in both Manufacturing and Repair.
Mr. Ruppert is a “hands on manager” within all aspects of operations and has a thorough understanding of Industrialization related to new product, process, and customer introductions. Patrick is leading the charge in the globalization of Triumph Insulation Systems operations.
Elizabeth Kinch CSCP
Director of Strategic Procurement
Elizabeth Kinch joined Triumph Insulation Systems on May 28, 2008 bringing over seventeen (17) years of airline experience having held management positions in the Maintenance and Engineering divisions of both Alaska and America West Airlines. A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, she also holds a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. Her depth of knowledge touches every aspect of supply chain management including supplier management, contract negotiation and administration and inventory planning and management.
Kimball Smith
Controller
Kimball Smith joined Triumph Insulation Systems 4-1-10 as part of the acquisition of The Mexmil Company. He graduated from Amherst College with a B. A. in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics and Economics. He furthered his education at the prestigious Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where he received an M.B.A.. Mr. Smith’s career spans 29 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including over 23 years at the Controller/Director level. Of this experience, 21 years have been in manufacturing within various industries including medical products and aerospace.
His experience encompasses cash management, SOX, IT, human resources, administration, and all accounting/finance functions. Kimball is proficient in a number of ERP systems as well as the MS software suite.
