Scott Holland
President

Scott Holland, has more than 20 years of progressive, executive management experience in the aviation interiors products and service industry. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems (formerly The Mexmil Company) in 2001, he held positions with Am-Safe, Brice Manufacturing, Aircraft Interior Resources (AIR) and B/E Aerospace. Mr. Holland is responsible for both the successful turnaround and explosive growth that the company experienced during his tenure, having initially led the marketing and sales teams, and then providing leadership that guided the organization through its globalization and diversification efforts.

Mr. Holland is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance.

Howard Sanderson
Sales and Marketing

Howard Sanderson has more than 25 years of distinguished management experience in the Aerospace industry, having facilitated the profitable growth of Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial organizations alike.  Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems (formerly The Mexmil Company) in 2004, he held senior management positions in business development and finance within the Aerospace industry such as Rockwell Collins, Brice Manufacturing and Westinghouse Electronic Systems, to name a few. 

Mr. Sanderson is a graduate of the University of Redlands in California with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance emphasis) and a graduate focus in International Marketing.

Jose Burboa
Operations

Jose Burboa joined Triumph Insulations Systems, formerly The Mexmil Company, in 2006, bringing nearly 20 years of operations executive experience with a strong emphasis on business profitability and continuous improvement through efficient operation.
Prior to joining Triumph Insulation, Mr. Burboa was the Plant Manager at Flexcel Mexicali, and the Plant Manager at Primera Posicion.

Mr. Burboa has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, and significant training in Lean Enterprise initiatives. Mr. Burboa has a proven, solid background in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Leadership with several successful implementations in different fields and companies, and has integrated those skills into the operations at Triumph Insulation Systems.

Mariano Velarde
Quality

Mariano Velarde started in the aerospace industry in 1990, and joined Mexmil Company, now Triumph Insulation, in 1999. Mr. Velarde is experienced in ISO9000, AS9100 and GRAMS, and instrumental in achieving and maintaining Certification for all Triumph Insulation Systems sites, which include Mexican and Chinese facilities, as well as Mexican aviation civil authority production certification on the Mexican site. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems, Mr. Velarde was the Quality Manager at Honeywell Aerospacial de Mexico.

Mr. Velarde is a graduate of Baja California Autonomous University (UABC) and holds a Bachelor of Systems Analyst degree in Engineering with an emphasis on networks. He holds an Industrial Engineering Master degree from CETYS University. Additionally, he holds an AS9100 lead auditor certificate.

Renato Torres
Purchasing / Supply Chain

Renato Torres joined Triumph Insulation Systems in 2008. In his current role, he is responsible for all supply chain functions, including procurement, vendor contracts, warehousing, shipping, receiving, customs, logisitics, and management of global administration. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems, Mr. Torres was the General Manager for Master Work Electronics, and the General Manager for Escatec de Mexico.

Mr. Torres has training in Industrial Engineering from Mexicali University, a Six Sigma Black Belt from Honeywell, and is a Lean Manufacturing Trainer through SIEBE. He also has taken Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) through Association for Operations Management (APICS).

Patrick Ruppert
Operations

Patrick Ruppert has been with Triumph Insulation Systems since 2006, and is responsible for all industrialization activities related to new product line development, qualification, facility start ups, and new customer integration. Mr. Ruppert is a “hands on manager” and has a thorough understanding of industrialization related to new product, process, and customer introductions. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation Systems, Mr. Ruppert held a variety of advancing positions with aerospace companies, including Purchasing Manager, Operations Manager, Materials Manager, and Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Ruppert has a bachelor’s degree in management and industrial technology from The University of Houston, and is an active member of the National Association of Plastics Engineers.

Elizabeth Kinch, CSCP
Customer Service

Elizabeth Kinch has been in the aerospace industry since 1994, and joined Triumph Insulation Systems in 2008. She is currently responsible for customer specific program management, including monitoring contractual compliance to ensure customer fulfillment. Prior to her current role at Triumph Insulation, she was the Director of Strategic Sourcing. Before joining Triumph Insulation, she worked at Alaska Airlines as a Manager of Material Control and Manager of Repairs Control.

Ms. Kinch has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston University, and a master’s of international management from Thunderbird – School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Kimball Smith
Finance

Kimball Smith has significant experience in the accounting field, having started his career in 1981. Since that time, he has progressively attained more responsible roles, and joined Triumph Insulation in 2009, where he is now responsible for the accounting, financial planning, and budgeting of the organization. Prior to joining Triumph Insulation, Mr. Smith was responsible for the financial functions at a number of organizations primarily in the aerospace and medical products field.

Mr. Smith graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in Economics and Mathematics, from Amherst College, and a master’s in finance and operations from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.

Tom Cecil
Sales and Marketing

Tom Cecil started his career in the aerospace industry in 1979, and joined Mexmil Company, now Triumph Insulation Systems, in 2004. He is currently responsible for the sales and marketing of Triumph Insulation Systems products in the Americas. In the last 15 years, Mr. Cecil has worked in a variety of sales related functions, including Sales Manager at Aircraft Interior Resources and Sales Manager at Spectra Interior Parts.

Mr. Cecil has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University, and a master’s degree from the University of Alabama. He is on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Winston Salem, and is an active volunteer for “Ear Candy”, an organization that collects musical instruments for under-funded schools.
