Dennis Suedkamp

President

 

Dennis Suedkamp joined Triumph Group, then A. Biederman, in 1978. He is an active member of the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference, the MRO, a member of the NBAA and the HAI.

Mr. Suedkamp has his BS in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix in 1999 with a double minor in math/science. He has furthered his education through Triumph University and the USC Marshall School of Business.  Mr. Suedkamp graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1978 with his AIET certification.

Jim McArthur

Operations

 

Jim joined Triumph Instruments–Burbank in August 2009 as a transfer from Triumph Accessory Services–Wellington as the Vice President of Operations.  Mr. McArthur has more than 20 years aviation industry experience through the U.S. Navy, Arizona Air National Guard and multiple aviation industry facilities. He has a broad knowledge base in avionics and electrical systems.

 

Mr. McArthur's background includes being a Crew Chief with the C-130 and P-3 Orion aircraft. This experience, along with service on multiple commercial airframes, provides Triumph Instruments with a wealth of management and hands-on expertise.

 

Tom Boat

Finance

 

Tom Boat joined Triumph Instruments in 2010. He has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Boat started his career at a major accounting firm and spent 17 years in accounting and finance positions at Mattel, Inc. and Warner Bros. He has been involved in numerous financial system upgrades throughout his career.

 

Mr. Boat graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting in 1987 and received his MBA in finance from Loyola Marymount University in 1999. Mr. Boat obtained his California CPA license in 1993.

 

Howard Lyons

Quality

 

Howard Lyons joined Triumph Instruments in 2003 as Director of Quality Control. His responsibilities also include management of the IATA Dangerous Goods Shipping Regulations, Export Controls Administration, and management of annual reports to various governmental agencies for safety and environmental protection.

 

Mr. Lyons has more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Prior to joining Triumph, he was employed from 1986 to 2002 by Honeywell Aerospace in Burbank as a Quality Control Auditor, Technical Writer, and Senior Electronics Technician. He has a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Lyons also possesses a certificate in electronics technology as well as certificates in technical writing from California State University, Hayward.

 

Ruth Ann Kehrli

Purchasing/Supply Chain

 

Ruth Ann Kehri joined Triumph Instruments' predecessor company, A. Biederman, in 1964. She has 45 years of experience in the aerospace industry, solely with Triumph Instruments-Burbank/A. Biederman. Her background includes work in aircraft sales of instrument parts and units, both as inside and outside sales, to the major airlines and repair shops.

 

She is an active attendee of the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference and has been a volunteer for more than 20 years.

 

Luisito Tuazon

Engineering

 

Luisito Tuazon joined Triumph Instruments in 1998. Mr. Tuazon brings a depth of experience in instruments and avionics, having worked on a wide variety of commercial platforms with high quality standards.

 

He has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, working for Philippine Airlines as a Master Mechanic. While working for Philippine Airlines, he earned an Ace Award, the airline’s highest honor. Mr. Tuazon graduated from the Guzman Institute of Electronics in Manila in 1978.

 

Sharon Johnson

Customer Service

 

Sharon Johnson joined Triumph Instruments' predecessor company, A. Biederman, in 1984. She has more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, all with Triumph Instruments-Burbank. She started her career as a receiving clerk and then moved to the Customer Service department to work in the repairs area.

 

Jeff Carter

Sales and Marketing

 

Jeff Carter has spent 30 years in sales and management positions in construction material marketing, wholesale plumbing supply, commercial water heater, and industrial sales. This includes a four-year assignment as operations manager of Arieb Marketing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 

Jeff Carter joined Triumph Instruments- Burbank, then A. Biederman, in 1995 as a territory manager in Northern California, where success with design engineers in Silicon Valley led to National Salesman of the Year honors for Burkert Fluid Control Systems in 1999 and 2000. Mr. Carter was transferred to Triumph Instruments-Glendale in 2006 to assume his current duties. He is the product champion for Burkert and Bacharac, and was instrumental integrating the Bacharach Service Center into Triumph’s Burbank facility. He is AQMD-certified in combustion analysis of stationary internal combustion engines and commercial boiler systems.
