Triumph Gear Systems - Park City offers proven experience and expertise in the engineering, verification and manufacture of high performance gears and geared products.   Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print work to collaboratively engineered, highly specialized applications.

Our design group utilizes an in-house spur and helical gear analysis program to size gears according to your duty cycle requirements and calculate all gear geometry required for manufacturing. The program is based on the AGMA 2001-C95 standard.  Our high standards provide gears that are designed for 99.9 percent reliability. 

In bevel gearing, all design factors are taken into account, including load, speed, duty cycle and materials.  The Gleason T-2000 program is used for gear sizing and for calculating both dimension sheets and machine settings required for manufacturing.  To avoid damaging resonance of the gear elements, detailed finite element models are constructed for each gear using NASTRAN/PASTRAN software.  These software models are then verified by modal impact testing.
