Heat Treat / Age : Triumph Fabrications -Shelbyville

Triumph Fabrications - Shelbyville’s solution heat treating furnace allows us to handle material loads of 600 pounds. Material stock size limitations are 54” wide x 200” long x 100” high. This furnace is certified to MIL-H-6088, AMS-2770 and multiple other customer specifications.  It can also be used for precipitation age hardening and annealing of aluminum as well as stress relieving of steel weldments.

Triumph Fabrications - Shelbyville has two Despatch ovens that allow us to artificially age many aluminum alloys. Age hardening of aluminum sheet is restricted to a work zone measuring 198” long x 80” wide x 84” tall.

Heat treating capabilities include having three large walk in type freezers used for storing materials that have been through the solution heat treating process prior to forming.

Triumph Fabrications - Shelbyville has met all requirements to become certified by NADCAP in accordance with SAE Aerospace Standard AS7003 for heat treating and for conducting hardness testing.
