Part Types : Triumph Fabrications - San Diego
Triumph Fabrications - San Diego & Triumph Fabrications – Phoenix have earned a reputation for excellence through more than 50 years of supplying consistent quality products and services to the aerospace, defense and power generation markets. Our major area of expertise is producing close tolerance, complex sheet metal assemblies made from all types of aerospace materials using various forming and joining techniques. A strong Lean Manufacturing culture committed to continuous improvement utilizing supply chain management, state-of-the-art systems and a seasoned manufacturing engineering development team has made us a leader in our field and a name to trust.
Core Competencies: Typical parts include circular, conical, and tubular shapes such as aircraft engine exhaust ducts and tailpipes, nacelle, and ducting up to 60" diameter for a multitude of applications. Aircraft structural components such as access doors and panels, control surface leading edges, and fuselage components are also produced, as are complex combustor assemblies for ground based power generation units, helicopter engines, & marine applications. Both manufacturing facilities support multiple forming processes, including bulge forming, deep draw hydro-forming, drop hammer, and hydraulic forming. Part joining processes include fusion and resistance welding and various mechanical joining methods.
Competitive Differences: Triumph Fabrications - San Diego & Triumph Fabrications - Phoenix are well known for our unique capability to produce large, complex, close tolerance bulge formed parts up to 60" diameter and 84" long; deep draw capability up to a 12” draw depth is also support with hydroforming up to a 32” diameter. High temperature and aluminum aerospace metal alloys are bulge formed, hydraulic formed, and drop hammer formed into close tolerance details that are precision joined using various methods. Our range of forming processes allow precision forming of welded cones and cylinders from a single piece construction and is not limited exclusively to round shapes. It can also form circular to rectangular transitions with elliptical and integral convolutions. Tolerances on
very large parts can be held to a very exacting +/- .015". Complex / compound surfaces are similarly formed on exotic alloys with our deep draw hydro-forming competency.
