Core Competencies: Typical parts include circular, conical, and tubular shapes such as aircraft engine inlet and exhaust ducts, performance & IR mixers, heat shields, complex combustor assemblies, oil tanks, liners and casings, flanges, ducts and seals for fixed wing, helicopter, marine propulsion and ground based power generation units. Manufacturing facilities support multiple forming processes, including deep draw hydro-forming, press brake, punching, rolling, expanding, swedging, and mechanical forming. Part joining processes include fusion welding by manual MIG and TIG, mechanized GTA, semi-auto GTAW, semi-auto GMAW, spot and seam resistance welding and various mechanical joining methods.
Competitive Differences: Triumph Fabrications – Phoenix is globally known for our unique capability to produce complex, close tolerance details and assemblies. Deep draw hydro-forming capability up to a 12” draw depth is also supported with hydro-forming up to a 32” diameter. High temperature and aluminum aerospace metal alloys are formed into close tolerance details that are precision joined using various methods. Our range of forming processes allow precision forming of welded cones and cylinders from a single piece construction and is not limited exclusively to round shapes. It can also form circular to rectangular transitions with elliptical and integral convolutions. Complex / compound surfaces are similarly formed on exotic alloys with our deep draw hydro-forming competency.
Certifications
Triumph Fabrications - Phoenix holds ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality systems approvals through third party registration, and has NADCAP for heat treat, NDT, welding, and non-conventional machining (laser).
We also hold multiple systems and special process approvals from customers such as Boeing, Cessna, GE, Rolls-Royce, and Honeywell.
