History : Triumph Controls - Germany Gmbh

Triumph Controls - Germany GmbH was formed in 1953 as Helm Teleflex through a license agreement between Teleflex Products Ltd., England and Mr. Woelm of Hespe & Woelm.  Teleflex Products was formed in 1952 in Stadtallendorf, Germany.  In 1954 the business was relocated to its current site in Heiligenhaus, Germany.  In 1955 the business was officially formed as Teleflex GmbH.  In the intervening years the company was owned by various companies, culminating in the re-acquisition by Teleflex in 2001.  In 2008, Teleflex divested portions of their Automotive and Aerospace concerns to Kongsberg Automotive in Norway.  The Aviation segment was acquired by Triumph Group in April 2009 and commenced doing business as Triumph Controls - Germany GmbH.
