Triumph Controls - France (formally CBA) was founded in 1951’s by Mr. POMMEY Marcel and Mr. RICHOUX inventor of the ball bearing control "CBA Flexball". This company is the continuation of Mr. POMMEY Marcel's company (Sté La Chaine) founded in 1928. In 1959, CBA moved to Alfortville, current facility. In 1977, CBA decided to improve its know-how first for the Railways and Navy industry then in 1985 for the aircraft industry with EADS and DASSAULT. In 1995 CBA purchased SIMME, a French company which had significant business with DASSAULT. In 1999 CBA joined Triumph Group.
