Triumph Airborne Structures

History : Triumph Airborne Structures

Triumph Airborne Structures was originally founded as Airborne Nacelle in October 1995 with the backing of Airborne Supply and The Chem-Fab Corporation. Initial service focused on the repair and overhaul of aircraft fan reversers. Airborne's service quickly expanded to include inlet cowls, fan cowls, pneumatic actuators and other nacelle components. Airborne Nacelle Services was acquired by Triumph Group in July 2000 and to further expand our capability, Triumph acquired the assets of Aerocell Structures in August, 2002. Aerocell's focus included metal and composite bonded flight control surfaces. The combination of Airborne Nacelle and Aerocell Structures gave Triumph significant depth and breadth in structural capabilities. In May, 2004 the name Triumph Airborne Structures, Inc. was established and today we are an emerging leader in aircraft structural repair and overhaul.
