Trend monitoring provides early warning of APU performance deterioration by comparison of vital signs recorded at particular load conditions over a period of time.  Triumph offers Triumph Engine Analysis and Monitoring (TEAM) as a tool to evaluate APU on-wing performance and provide predictions for scheduled removals. The goal of TEAM is to avoid costly failures and to minimize unanticipated failures.
