Structures Test Laboratory

The company’s structures test laboratories are staffed by an experienced team of design, test, and computer engineers and technicians. This team provides the resources necessary to develop project-specific, customer-tailored testing and reporting programs that support a wide variety of products. The laboratories are capable of designing and fabricating test fixtures and tooling, and is supported by an extensive automated test and instrumentation operation.

Computer Operations and Instrumentation

Test Operations' Computer Operations and Instrumentation Groups use current measurement and control techniques and equipment to provide instrumentation, test control, and data acquisition for structural and systems tests.  Skilled Engineers and technicians perform the necessary support to ensure test programs are completed within budget and on schedule.  Services provided include selection and design of test control, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation equipment, technical support in the selection of instrumentation requirements to ensure valid test results, application software design and implementation, maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic test equipment, and video/high speed movie applications, and calibration traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  The staff has extensive experience in hardware design, software design, fabrication, and installation.
