Triumph Aerospace Systems - Seattle

History : Triumph Aerospace Systems - Seattle

The Redmond, WA facility was originally established in 1999 in Kent, WA as an assembly and test facility for the EFS Boeing product line and for development and qualification testing of components designed for new Boeing programs.  Programs included extensive development tests on piston rings, snubber rings, sealing systems and 5000 psi impulse testing.  Having the facility local to Boeing has allowed Boeing Engineering easy access for conducting and witnessing tests, examining test rigs and hardware, and providing a hands-on environment for gaining a better understanding of how the hardware works. Other roles have included providing engineering support to Boeing Engineering, Receiving and Inspection, EQA, and Factory or Flightline troubleshooting.  In 2001 Triumph acquired EFS Aerospace and the Kent, WA facility.  In 2004, the EFS facility moved to a larger facility in Redmond, WA and became Triumph Aerospace Systems - Seattle.  Triumph Aerospace Systems - Seattle is now the systems engineering and integration focal for Triumph Group companies.

The Triumph Engineering group includes the same engineers that designed the Main and Nose Gear Retract actuators and  hydraulic control system for the Boeing 757, 777, 767-400 and new generation 737 -700,800,900.

Utilizing our vast experience in utility hydraulic components, we strive to provide the lightest weight, most reliable, high performance hydraulic actuators in the aerospace business.
