Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News’ instrumentation and assembly services are provided on a stand-alone basis or combined with other services to produce turn-key engineered solutions. As part of our technical services offerings, we also build and route complex electromechanical instrumentation systems. This activity requires a high skill level to ensure the instrumentation operates in a reliable manner throughout the life of the test program.
Designing hardware to incorporate instrumentation is a highly technical and interdependent discipline. The goal is to reproduce our customer’s aerodynamic concept while minimizing the introduction of intrusive sensors into the hardware. This affects range of motion for kinematics elements, stress levels in parts and maintainability.
