William Jacobson
President
William Jacobson is President of Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News and has been with the company since 2004. As President, he is responsible for the overall strategic management and performance of the Company. Prior to joining Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News, Mr. Jacobson worked for Air New Zealand Group, Ltd. He held the positions of CEO Ansett Austrailia & Air New Zealand Engineering Services, Ltd. and Vice President of Airline Operations. Prior to that position, Mr. Jacobson was the Vice President of Commercial Repair and Overhaul for Allied Signal, Inc. (Honeywell, Intl.). Previous to his tenure at Allied Signal, Mr. Jacobson was the Vice President of Textron Lycoming Turbine Services and before that, held various posts at General Electric. At General Electric, he was a graduate of the Manufacturing Management Program.
Mr. Jacobson has a bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College, and a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy from Dartmouth College Thayer School of Engineering.
John Anderson
Sales and Marketing
John Anderson has been with Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News or its predecessors since 1999. In his current role, Mr. Anderson is responsible for the development of new business, the accomplishment of the business forecast and all marketing and sales activities. Additionally, he oversees customer and public relations activities and proposal development. Prior to his current post at Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News, Mr. Anderson was the Turbo Machinery Program Director. Preceding 1999, Mr. Anderson was employed by Pratt & Whitney as their Manager of Advanced Technology Program Plans where he managed the planning processes of the military and commercial engine technology requirements.
Mr. Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Parks College of St. Louis University and was an Officer in the United States Air Force.
Stephanie Mumford
Customer Service
Stephanie Mumford has overall responsibility for Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News proposals, contracts, supply chain, human resources, facilities, safety, security and administrative activities. She has been working at Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News or its predecessor companies since 1989, and has substantial experience in complex contract negotiations, government compliance, business/financial issues, import/export control, employee benefits and management, and complex outsourcing.
Ms. Mumford has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and is an active member of the National Contract Management Association.
Steve Long
Operations
Steve Long has been in the aerospace industry since 1976, and joined Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News in 2007. In his current role, Mr. Long is responsible for the manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions within the organization. Prior to his current position, Mr. Long was General Manager of Parker Aerospace Electronics Systems Division.
Mr. Long has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Hofstra University.
Mike Crawshaw
Engineering
Mike Crawshaw has management responsibility for all engineering and technology/product development activities at Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News. He has been in the aerospace industry since 1980, and has been working at Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News or its predecessor companies since 1994. Prior to his current role, Mr. Crawshaw was the Director of Technical Products and Director of Programs and Operations at Triumph Aerospace Systems – Newport News.
Mr. Crawshaw received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Bradford University, West Yorkshire, England. Mr. Crawshaw is also a Fellow of the United Kingdom's Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Archie Lewis
Finance
Archie Lewis has been with Triumph Aerospace Systems - Newport News or its predecessors since 1983. He is currently responsible for accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. Mr. Lewis has vast experience in governmental accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis, and has been involved in many successful long-term cost proposals involving estimated future pricing rates.
Mr. Lewis has a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in computer science, with an emphasis in computer programming, from Hampton University. In 1994, he obtained a certificate of Certified Public Accountancy (CPA).
Norris Monk
Quality
Norris Monk has been in the aerospace industry since 1979, and has been responsible for all aspects of quality for Triumph Aerospace Systems – Newport News since 1998. His responsibilities include management of all quality assurance, quality control, and statistical process control. Prior to joining Triumph Aerospace Systems – Newport News, Mr. Monk was the Director of Quality and Safety for Allied Aerospace, and the Quality Assurance Manager for Dynamic Engineering.
Mr. Monk is an active member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ), the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), and the American Welding Society (AWS).
