Thomas Holzthum
President
Thomas Holzthum has served as President, Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut since 2001. He joined the company in 1998 as Group Director of Marketing for Frisby Aerospace, which was later acquired by Triumph Group, Inc.
In 1999, Mr. Holzthum was promoted to General Manager of HTD Aerospace during the acquisition by Triumph. In 2002, Triumph acquired Ozone Industries located in East Lyme, Connecticut and combined HTD and Ozone as a single business unit. Triumph renamed this business unit Triumph Actuation Systems-Connecticut in 2006. Mr. Holzthum holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Timothy Broderick
Finance
Timothy Broderick joined Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut in 1990 as the Controller and assumed the additional responsibilities of Vice President in 2003. Prior to joining Triumph, Mr. Broderick served as the Vice President of Programs and Business Management for Dow-United Technologies Composite Products, Inc. He also has held various positions within United Technologies Corporation. Mr. Broderick is a Certified Public Accountant and a cum laude graduate of St. Michaels College in Vermont.
John Boscia
Sales and Marketing
John Boscia has served as Vice President Business Development for Triumph Actuation Systems – Connecticut since May 2010. He is responsible for all marketing and development engineering initiatives within the company. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Boscia held the position of Business Unit Manager since the formation of the Mechanical Products Business Unit in 2003.
Before joining Triumph, Mr. Boscia was employed by United States Surgical Corporation from 1991 to 1996 and worked in a number of engineering positions. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Boscia worked as Design & Project Engineer, Director of Engineering and Product Director for aerospace product supplier Norco, Inc. Mr. Boscia is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology.
Tony LeBlanc
Operations
Tony LeBlanc joined Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut as Materials Manager in 2006, operating out of the Bloomfield facility and has served as Director, Program Management & Materials since May 2010. He entered the field of aviation as an airframe and power-plant mechanic at Wood Group Aero. Mr. LeBlanc worked for Wood Group Aero until 2002 and progressed in the following positions: Turbine Engine Assembly Technician, Field Service Supervisor, Program Manager and Materials Manager. Following his tenure at Wood Group, Mr. LeBlanc was employed by Turbine Controls Inc., managing two of its divisions. Mr. LeBlanc graduated from Harvard H. Ellis Regional Technical School in 1995.
