Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut (TAS-CT) specializes in the design, development, test and manufacture of a wide array of aerospace products.  Specifically these products involve turbine engine components, hydro-mechanical actuation systems, structural landing gear systems and components as well as electro-mechanical and mechanical actuation systems used throughout military and commercial industries. We currently have three operations throughout Connecticut.

Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut excels in manufacturing components up to 20 inches in diameter that typically require both milling and turning, typically in high strength titanium and nickel based alloys primarily used in turbine engine applications. The in-house grinding capability allows us to hold tolerances within +/-.0001 inches.

With numerous 4-axis CNC milling centers, CNC turning centers, 3-axis CNC vertical milling centers, CNC grinding capabilities, wire EDM, grinding, honing and lapping capabilities we are well equipped to manufacture as well as design the most complex nose wheel steering system, shimmy damper, landing gear system, flight control servo actuator, lag damper or hydraulic valve. Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut specializes in the design & development of telescoping, fixed length and folding hold open rods and struts, mechanical latches and keepers, hydro-mechanical uplocks as well electro-mechanical and mechanical actuation systems.  The development of these products is performed utilizing the latest engineering software such as PTC Pro/ENGINEER, Pro/Mechanica (FEA), PDMLink, Mechanism Dynamics, CATIA and MathCad for product development.
