Jim Berberet

President

 

Jim Berberet joined Triumph Aftermarket Services in March 2008 as Vice President Business Development and Triumph Accessory Services - Wellington in October 2009 as President. He has more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, including airline, OEM and MRO services businesses.

 

Mr. Berberet came to Triumph with an extraordinary set of skills in the leadership of multi-site repair facilities, successfully improving productivity, quality, turn times and efficiencies in every step of the process. Prior to joining Triumph, he worked at NORDAM Repair Division and GE Aircraft Engines. Mr. Berberet received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and earned an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.

 

Dale Weber

Finance

 

Dale Weber brings to Triumph Accessory Services - Wellington an impressive 25 years of financial, cost, and tax accounting expertise in the manufacturing and aerospace industry. His prior employment experience has been as a Controller with TECT Aerospace and BAE Systems in Wellington. Mr. Weber has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wichita State University and an MBA from Baker University.

 

Billy Martin

Sales and Marketing

 

Billy Martin is a former Navy Test & Evaluation pilot and has conducted operational flight testing on seven different aircraft, flying more than eleven dissimilar aircraft during his naval career. As a result, he brings significant operational experience to his current position in managing performance-based activities, maintenance, flight line operations, lean manufacturing, and logistics support.

 

Mr. Martin is a former Captain and Navy Carrier Pilot and holds bachelor’s, master’s and MBA degrees from St. John’s College, the Naval War College, and Newman University, respectively. In addition, he is a graduate of the Naval Post Graduate School’s Aviation Safety Officer School. 

 

Bill Blasi

Operations

 

Bill Blasi brings more than 40 years of MRO experience to his position as Director of Operations. His expertise includes serving as the Vice President of the Commercial division of Lamar Corporation, prior to the acquisition by Triumph Group. Mr. Blasi earned his bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University.

 

David Smalley

Quality

 

David Smalley brings extensive aviation management experience to his Director of Quality position with Triumph Accessory Services - Wellington. He was a member of the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom before making his way to the United States, working for Lear Aerospace as its Quality Director. Mr. Smalley brings a deep level of expertise to his current position and is an ASQ-certified Quality Auditor.

 

John Grimshaw

Engineering

 

John Grimshaw has more than 20 years of experience in aviation engineering. Prior to joining Triumph Accessory Services as the Director of Engineering, he was the Manager of Technical Services for Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. Mr. Grimshaw graduated from Central Manchester College with his HNC in engineering and from Macclesfield College with his HNC in aeronautical engineering.

 

Cliff Gibbons

Operations, Triumph Accessory Services-San Antonio

 

Cliff Gibbons has 20+years of GSE experience. He began his career as a mechanic, supporting the U.S. Navy’s Training Command Squadrons at NAS Kingsville, Texas. He supported several flight training programs, including the T2C Buckeye, the A4 Skyhawk and the T45 Goshawk while working for UNC Aviation and McDonnell Douglas.

 

Mr. Gibbons earned his bachelor's degree in 1996 while working fulltime on the second shift, supporting the T45 Goshawk program. In 2000, he transferred to Boeing in San Antonio where he acquired his experience with wide body aircraft (C-17, KC-10, KC-135, and the C-130). In 2001, he became a senior manager, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of logistics, supply warehouse, and the maintenance team in support of flight-line operations. His other responsibilities included developing metrics for measuring business objectives and goals, operating budgets and expenditures, equipment availability status reports, equipment maintenance cycle times, tool control, and fuel usage. In 2004, Mr. Gibbons became the GSE Site Program Manager for Triumph’s San Antonio Support Center, where he has implemented a number of lean manufacturing activities.
